Advice new gt3 purchase
Advice new gt3 purchase
My dealer has a new gt3 in stock. It has two important must have options,PCCB and sport buckets, but is missing dynamic mounts, wrong color, and other options I do not care for.I would prefer to build my own car but the dealer says that there are no more allications left for them in 2010. They are a big Porsche franchise in my area. As I am a new customer to this dealership I think they would pefer to sell whats in stock befor giving me my build. However, if he is telling me the truth I do not want to be with out a car comes spring. Should I go on the"wait and see if we can get you a build list" or make an offer on whats in stock? what do you think my chances are of getting my build this early? What have you done in the past?

You might check some other dealers and look for consistency.
Once you have info, and if you want to do business with present dealer, then you may want to go back and ask if they can find the car you want at another dealer. Economy is not good so a lot can be accomplished now.

Last time I looked around there were plenty of unallocated cars. There may be no current allocations but call around or even search porsche's website or autotrader. There are plenty of cars available.
Is an unallocated car a build contract sitting at a dealer? Are dealers offering savings on gt3s in stock?

DE Mounts have just become available as of late Sept. There are no cars presently in dealer's inventory with PADM, hence speculation as to one reason why some cars have not sold.
