For those who have 997's and use external canister suspensions...

where are you putting your rear external canisters??

If you are mounting them inside on the roll bar... where are you cutting to get them inside???

Pics would help... Im debating where to mount my rear canisters.

I drive a 996TT and have my Moton canisters under the rear speaker housing. 2 screws to pull it out. Don't know if it's the same setup as in a 997. No need to cut. There is a rubber grommet in the fender well that my tech put them through. Again, not sure if it's the same on the 997.

You're going to love the shocks, just do your homework and get the right spring set for your car. Call GMG and confer with them. They know.

JRZ's are on the Harness bar, started off by the muffler but decided to bring them inside.

My problem is they are not quick disconnects... so if i bring them inside a large hole has to be made...

my other option is to mount them where the mufflers used to be (removed side mufflers).

Is there any way to bring them inside without having to cut a giant hole??

and if I cut where should I make the hole??

Are they new? If so, I'd ask to get the quick disconnects so you only have to drill a small hole near the front of the rear wheel-well. I'd call GMG or CPT and ask if you need to drill a large hole.

Or even better have GMG install it for you since you live in SoCal

Like Landjet said... there is a Rubber Grommet that is in the bodywork, near to where rear subframe mounts, you pop it through there.
