gt2 exhaust

Anyone here have any thoughts regarding a 997 gt2 aftermarket exhaust. I currently have the stock muffler but i've had the cats removed, the sound is nice but i'd like something even louder.
here are two crap vids of the car, thanks in advance.

I believe GMG makes one, titanium, so will be very loud I assume. I would also look towards the usual suspects: FVD, cargraphic, fabspeed, but I dont know if they make one or not.

FVD Speedart, Gemballa have titanium exhaust for the GT2, made by porsche motorsports's supplier M&M germany

I think the stock muffler(Akrapovic) is good enough. This is one of the best sounding exhaust systems. I have put the tubi on GT2 and it sounds not as good as the stock one. It has virtually no low end torque. The low end torque is so bad, I got noticeable power loss as well. So I put the stock muffler back on.

so the tubi actually lost power? i was gonna use the tubi muffler from my 997tt tubi race system i had lying around and chose not to. the pipe diameters were smaller than my stock unit so i left it alone.

I think your stock muffler w/ cat delete sounds great. So good in fact, that I'm going to do it to my stock GT2 with an ecu flash.

If you want it even louder think about adding a partial muffler by-pass H pipe (1" or 1 1/2" diameter) between the muffler inlet and exit pipes that allows some of the pre-muffler exhaust to exit directly w/o passing thru the muffler. Find someone that is good at welding titanium and it should be very cheap to mod.

I've got the Switzer exhaust on my other GT2 and it is not loud at all even with the catless test pipes.

We have several 6speeders with our system installed.

Either Titanium or Stainless.

I think the tubi actually lost power on GT2. If you want something loud with higher pitched exhaust tone. You can try Meisterschaft exhaust. Their exhaust has the most aggressive sound. I have them on my GTR and M3, it sounds like Ferrari...

no ecu upgrade, no cel light. had a tubi race exhaust from my old 997tt laying around. cut out the catless section at my mechanic's shop and had it attached to the gt2 exhaust.
