My local dealer call me with the list of options for the new gt3RS 2010. The build date is March 2010.

I appreciate your opinion about what options you may think are more desirable for this type of car. Below is my first round of options.

510-Contrasting color - Guard Red
A4-Exterior color - Gray black ($3,140)
810-Floor Mats ($90)
870-Universal audio interface ($95)
474-Front axle lifting system ($3,490)
509 - Fire extinguisher - ($140)
585-Cup Holder (0$))
XUB- Headlight cleaner cover in exterior color ($295)

I assume the wheel color and the side mirrors as well as the rear spoiler come as Porsche shows in their web site.

Not an RS option

 

Hmmmm....I see its "free" but Porsche couldn't pay me to put a cup holder in an RS....I wouldn't want to be tempted to use it vs hands on wheel/shifter.

btw....is your user name really mean this is your first 911? If so, wow, RS is an amazing first 911.

 

I didn't know cup holders is an option. It should be standrad IMHO.

 

I am building mine as follows: (keeping it simple)

Gray/White Gold
Mirror mounts and headlight cleaners painted exterior color
Carbon rear center console
Floor mats
Aluminum footrest
Radio delete

Debating the ceramics. Have them on my GT3 and love them, but I am not tracking this car...so why bother I figure.

I see that you have the fire extinguisher option picked. I have never seen this as an available option with the sport seats. I have the RS build guide from the dealer and its not on that list...as well as the online car configure link. If I can get it let me know how!

 

Is the order guide out for these?

 

The dealer printed out me a copy to take. I don't have it electronic. (I asked!)

 

Fire extinguisher means no sport buckets. Looks like he is going with adaptive sport seats (which I think is a mistake)

 

I was going to add PCCB and axle lift as well. I was waffling a bit. I just have to make sure that my wife is not paying attention.

 

is the rs available without the decals on the side?

 

Just a heads up...

You'll need to do the upgraded stereo to get the Universal Audio Interface. Its not available with the standard radio unit.

 

Other than not selecting a contrasting color... the decals can not be deleted on their own.
