I hope you like the black anodized. My company does it for Jongbloed . Its military spec coat of anodize so it should last you

 

My only problem with anodizing is that it turns purple with heat. Is that preventable?

 

Depends on the anodizing, if it's hard anno or regular n surface prep heavy but you must mean alot heat

 

Well these are track and race wheels that regularly see high temperatures for long periods of time. And anodizing on many of track wheels turns purple-ish after time. That's why I've never considered it, but if there is a solution, I may.
