My 2K10 GT3 is on the way to GMG
Well I hit my 2000 mile breakin point last week finaly. So having done that I figured it was time for upgrades. In the last 2K miles if I have learned only one thing about this car that would be that this think HALLS ACE baby!! This thing made my C63 AMG seem like a slug. The horsepower to weight ratio on the GT3 makes it scary even at times. That being said I was thinking the best place to start upgrading was safety and suspension upgrades. I have followed all the great work that many of the shops on this forum have been dishing out on what seems a weekly basis. Both shops offer great products with each shop offering a few standout products the other may not have. It is great to see so many good shops on this forum that work well with each other and have good things to say about each other. Each shop has somthing special to bring to the table. No one shop can or offer it all.
For my starting point I went with GMG for my roll bar. I like there WC bar the best because of the six points of atachment and the extra seat slide room. Along with the bar they are installing Sparco harness belts w/Hans, adjustable swaybars F&R, Dog Bones, Toe Links all the adjustable wizz bang suspention parts, ect. Also adding the new Cup Car Spliter. I figures I had all the power I need right now, just want to better put it to the ground.
I must say thus far GMG's service and help have been top notch. Fabrics and James have been right there with answere to my questions. Everything from setting up the transporter for pick up in Baton Rouge to understanding what my long term plans are with the car and how it will be used. Time will tell how the project unfolds.
Keep you posted.

Troy,
I am glad you went with GMG Racing, they are one of the best in the business, and they make some of the highest quality products I have ever seen.
Please post some pictures of your car when it is done. Enjoy!!

They do great work and definitely know what it takes to set these cars up properly. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to their shop and the work done on my car was superb.
If they set your ride height at motorsport specs, which I assume you'll do with the other suspension tweaks, I'd suggest that you save the cup splitter for the track even if you have the front lift option. I have to be pretty careful with the stock splitter, and still ground it occasionally. The cup splitter on a lowered car will really be in the weeds.
Good luck.

Feels like it to my. The reality it is a combo of things I think; weight, suspention, power, gear ratios, ect. My Carrera S is more easy to drive in town. Shifted smoother, shifts easy, the clutch is
lighter and so on.
Troy,
Your car is in our shop, ready to be upgraded with all the GMG chassis, suspension and safety modifications.
