GT3s have this happen to them every once in awhile. The GT3 is a very purposeful car.
It wouldnt be hard to imagine a first time 911 buyer drooling on a GT3 (say a 50 year old who can finally afford one) and then getting one. THe honeymoon ending in about 3-6 months and the buyer deciding the GT3 is just too much for him and he dumps it. Then the same thing happens with the second buyer, and maybe a third.
Also in todays Economic atmosphere its not hard to imagine someone being on top buying a GT3 and then him hitting bottom quickly and having to sell it, with a 2nd buyer same thing etc. As long as its got a clean history, and not many miles.

It looks good to me - has all the bells and whistles I would want. I'm there's someone on here who lives in SB that can go look at it or recommend a good PPI spot.

Nobody is dissing anybody, they are just trying to point out that for older people who can finally get their first Porsche may find it a rough car and not as comfortable as they thought it would be...

There's been three owners already so the next buyer is the fourth.

Anyone care to take a shot at guesstimating the resale impact of that many owners? For arguments sake, if in three years a similar 1 or 2 owner GT3 would be selling for $60k, do you think you'd end up getting 5 or 10K less for a 4 owner car? ...or perhaps, since it's nicely optioned, do you think you'd just have to wait a long time for a tolerant buyer?

How many owners a car has had doesn't really impact the price of the car, as long as one of those owners didn't rev the beejeezus out of it...mileage, age, and then options are the most influential factors.
