Clear bra source in Houston or Dallas area

I need to get the clear bra treatment for my 10' GT3. I am looking for a full cover in the Houston or Dallas area. Anybody have first hand experience in the Houston or Dallas area?

Any help would be great.

Hi Troy,

In Dallas, I would recommend Greg Flemming: 972-897-7373 or Norm Shilling: (214) 704-9299. Both are great installers. Otherwise, if you find yourself in San Antonio you can come straight to the source and we can do it here for you.

Hope this helps.

That sounds like a plan. I do make it to San Antonio at times.

Thanks, -Troy

Ya, years ago in the early days of the clear br. Business I knew a guy Reggie Bruner that had a company named "Invisa Shield" but not sure were they went. They used 3M porducts back then.

Go see Norm in Dallas like posted above. He did my GT3 RS including the windshield and wing. There is not a better installer or more friendly guy. It is a family deal and his wife helps. Great people. Can't say enough.

Invisishield (founded in 1996) became XPEL Technologies in 1999. Reggie was my partner in the business until we went public in 2004, where we both became mere officers and shareholders. Reggie retired as chairman of the board last week. We'll miss him.

Ok. Ya, way back when I lived in San Antonio Reggie used a white turbo Honda civic to make a training video. I know Reggie back when he had "ME Tees" (don't remember how to spell) silk screen business and from SCCA club racing.

Hi Troy,

Just so happens I had lunch with Reggie today, and he remembers you. He said you were a K&N distributor back in the day and you guys used to race together with Paul Costas and Frank Fertitta. Frank by the way, is our head customer service rep and has worked for us for the last 6 years.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Tim

Try calling Akram or Sunil at Motorwerks (832.419.8084). They (through Sunny at Xpert Tint) are one of the only guys in Houston that can do the Ventureshield which covers the entire hood in 1 piece of material.

I had it done on my Black 997TT and they did a superb job. Good luck!

I've tried more than a handful of installers so far, and Invisishield Houston (based at Driver Source on Memorial Drive, an exotic/classic car dealer), does the best work.

I've also tried Xpert tint. The tint job was pretty well done, but the clear bra job was utterly terrible. Several pieces of debris were trapped under the bra, and the owner initially even wanted to bet against me that they were not debris... turns out he was wrong.

Motorwerks contracts their jobs to the two installers above.
