[quote=Zmonsta;2917772]Anyone up for ButtonWillow on July 30th with CityTechSF? I'm in with my Z. The organizers notified us the current turn out is small, so they are extending the discounted price of $150.
/quote]

Would love to. But. Buttonwillow/Summer/No shade. Same for a number of other tracks.

Someone kindly advise tracks if they want summer business to put up some freaking awnings? I would gladly attend more summer events if I wasn't assured of ROASTING ALIVE IN THE SUN in the paddocks. Would gladly pay an extra fee for shade parking.

Get a clue track owners- ****ty hotels and no shade equals a big FU from drivers.

No animosity towards you ZMonsta! Just venting towards the braindead track management who choose to ignore their value proposition.

Zmonsta is infamous around these parts
sayboy, your comments are dead-on about the heat!

I remember 10 yrs back, T-Hill didn't have any shaded parking either, now they got them, and they got the A/C builidng/office! I never realized how awesome it is..

As for Buttonwillow, I heard from the organizers they are going to rent out garages for $75. That would be nice to get out of the heat! Wonder if they have a building/office with A/C, the Mrs wants to come along and I already warned her it's gonna be hot!!

BW does have an A/C snack bar and eating area, so Mrs. Monsta can get some respite from the cruel rays. And if I WERE going to BW I would damn sure get a garage.

We have a "TestNTune" at Reno/Fernley track this Saturday, and temps will be in the hundreds and there is NO shade anywhere. Called and asked/suggested the host to offer a 1/2 day rate so I can run 7AM-12PM and AVOID HEATSTROKE (actually happened there last weekend with a driver!) in my topless car and they won't do it.

As much of a Track Crack Addict as I am I can't bring myself to pay $220 for what will be for me a 1/2 day of tracking.

TH does have some shade and good on them for making the effort to consider their customers!

Argh...can't help but rant.

Thanks for Laguna Seca, I can salvage summer tracking.

No cover parking? That's just not right. All that solar radiation equal to at least 10 chest x-ray
