New Lift Installed

One of the deals I made with my wife to seal the deal with the recent acquisition of the GT2 was that I'd get a lift for the garage so all cars could still have a spot indoors. I (along with a couple friends) installed the lift a couple of days ago. I moved the cars over and everything fits! Happy wife, and an awesome lift in the garage now.

I paid $2k shipped for the lift. You need a forklift to get it off the delivery truck - they don't help with that. 8,000 lb load rating, and I have just a hair over 10ft of clearance 10'6" if you ignore the door, but the door takes 6" of space.

They wouldn't wait for me to remove it by hand - said I had to have it off the lift in 10 minutes so the driver could leave. You must have had a much nicer shipping company.

It was shortly followed up by this ultimatum... "You can have a mistress but she better have DD's." lol

Dream garage, nice pair!

Very nice company after I tipped the guy 100 bucks. I forgot to mention it did take about an hour to disassemble the parts and individually remove it from the truck. Enjoy your new lift....
