Looking for Guards Red GT3

I've been searching high and low for a 2011 Guards Red and I've only managed to find one new one in Atlanta, but it has silver painted wheels (why?!) I know what used ones are out there, but was wondering if anyone knows of any other 2011 Guards Red out there, thanks guys.

Guards Red...

The only one I know of is in my garage and for me it is the 'right' color...I'll keep an eye out in this area. Also, I could not agree more with your wondering why anyone would pay money to paint those beautiful stock wheels silver, or black, or any color...the stock titanium color is perfect in my opinion other than the beautiful aggressive titanium color that is stock...Good luck on your search!

I found another in Connecticut, but of course the wheels are painted black. Anyone else know of any others out there?!

Is it a Porsche option? The Silver option by Porsche is a no cost item. The contrast looks great on some 3s. You're right though the Ti finish is gorgeous. I have the stock wheels on my white .2 3 and love the Ti look.

Buy the car and a set of OEM wheels from Suncoast. You can likely sell the silver wheels for a reasonable price very easily to some of the track guys.

I think the silver wheels look good also. I like the titanium stock wheel color too(my car has it), but it can look very close to a silver wheel that has not been cleaned for a couple of weeks

The titanium color is easier to live with because whether you clean it or not, it looks about the same.

Totally agree that the Silver and Ti are similar. Just that the Ti seems to perfectly compliment the GT3's. Silver is a no cost option but black is a $1600 option. Great idea about buying the OEM wheels. I actually thought they were a little more expensive than what Suncoast listed. Unfortunately i'm unsure how much how would get for the OEM Wheels...~3k is my guess. Edit: Also the GT3 with silver wheels also has the leather steering wheel option. Another option that is like why?! stock is so much better.

Shoot, I prefer the silver wheels better, but my car has the TI finish. I was actually thinking about posting a thread seeing if anyone wanted to trade.

the leather steering wheel will likely wear better over time. however the alcantara wheel feels good! i agree that the stock ti wheels are awesome but i bet someone on the forums would be willing to trade out with the sliver wheels.

Why spend money when someone would likely want a straight up trade?

True. How about tire condition, shipping costs, general hassle, etc. Tons of potential reasons.
