tire "cuts"

a week ago I had a track day in my 997 GT3, 5k miles, checking the tires after finishing, the rear left tire had two "cuts" on the side, about 1 inch outward from the rim, the air pressure was 40-42 psi all day long, the cuts are 1 and 3 inches, opinions on what happened, is it safe to continue with this tire, just for everyday use?

Has your car been lowered or do you use spacers? Kind of looks like tire was hit by the wheel well while going over a bump.

Find the closest performance tire shop and ask them to inspect your tires.

I would def do that but if you are not losing air I dont think there is much to worry about it....there is plenty of rubber there (rim protector) so you should be okay...
