ROTtec GT3 CF Seats

Has anyone had any experience with these seats, specifically utilizing a 6-point harness application for track use? How about installation, overall comfort, etc., etc. They look very nice but I'd like some real world feedback.
Thanks,
PS I think this company is a board sponsor.........

Just got my first set from them today. Seats look great! Haven't got them mounted in the car yet, but hopefully that will be done this weekend. I'm planning on running a 6 pt. with mine as well. I know for the ones I got the OEM sub mount that you have to purchase for the OEM GT2 and OEM 996 seats don't fit so you have to look into the aftermarket mounts. I'm planning on buying my Brey Krause mounts from OG racing.

I actually got the euro 996 ones. Another member had a brand new set that he was getting rid of so I just hopped on those. The 996 seats are pretty narrow, I don't think I would fit in the CGT seats.

Very, very nice car...kudos!

What type of roll bar did you install and did you have to mess with your Bose sub to get it installed ? Many thanks,

Thanks for your reply! Can you use the Brey Krause sub bar with the ROTtec hardware or do you need to change that out to BK as well? I'd be appreciative if you could report back on how the install goes too. Best,

mechanic in a pro shop i deal with made a tongue in cheek when i asked about those seats - he says only proven options are race brands like recaros and with cheap seats you get what you pay for and it is not the way to go when you deal with a safety equipment in a race car.

if you want proven racing buckets - i would vote for those:
http://www.recaro.com/us/product-are...-hansr-xl.html

or spg hans xl, not sure where to see their picture.

I believe you can run the BK mount with the Rottec hardware, as that was what I was told by another member who did just that.

I installed the Porsche OEM Tequipment roll bar and the Bose sub wasn't touched at all or in the way of getting the bar installed.

Ut,
Do you have a link where they actually sell them or at least have a retail price? For as big of a name as Recaro is, they sure make it tough to price and buy their stuff. Thanks in advance,
