The real defferince is what the motor is made out of. What motor is better made, .1 or.2 being that porsche changed makers.

 

The .2 will be better as a daily driver but I love my .1 as it is mainly a track /weekend car. There are expenses with all these cars and you should consider your budget for DE , track events, coaching, track insurance. Mods of safety and coolant pipes welding /pinning.
Centerlocks also have revised service issues/maintenance guidelines if tracking.

 

i know this is an older post.... but based on the current market, you can find a .1 RS closer in price to a .1 GT3 than a .2... I drive mine all over town and to work, and it will get some track time... I think for the extra money I spent vs a regular GT3, the car doesn't need mods, is more unique, and should hold its value.... tires and a track alignment, and it's good to go... more car than I will ever need...
