I have used the search button on this fellows so take it easy on me but I'm on the fence right now on a deal between these two GT3's I really didn't find a solid enough answer between the 2...wanted to hear input not just performance difference but which one is a better gt3 overall. I know the #'s in Hp & torque exist but for those who had both why did you switch to the newer one? Or for those who opted for the .2 why? And lastly if the the deal is within 15k of each other would you take the .2 vs the .1? Or take the 15k and spend it on the .2? Thank you guys in advance.

 

What you planning on using it for, track or driving around on the street? I see you autox your STI.

 

Combination of both.

 

.2 all around better. Probably won't matter much on street driving, but on the track it is worth it for sure. Plus you get 3 years warranty!

 

I realize my comment will be of no help to you......but I would be very happy with either one!

 

If you can afford the .2, get it. If you can't, the .1 is amazing enough. I'm happy with my .1 and feel no need to update. If I didn't have my .1, I'd get a .2.

 

If the delta is only $15k, get the 997.2, and forget the mods!

 

.2.... sort of depends on what your plans are but all else being equal... .2

the .2 is better than .1 in EVERY WAY, i do mean in EVERY SINGLE WAY, measurable or not. if someone disagrees, they are clearly not familiar with these cars.

the only question is do you want to spend the extra money.

also looking at the same ! - seeing gt3.1 are around the 75- 85K and .2Gt3 still around the 100+ cheapest ive seen at around 105. its a 20K difference i am probably looking at mk2 did you also consider Gt3 RS.1 ? can be had for around 100k?
