What are the two most fun cars you have ever driven?
The reason I said two is I know I will get a bunch of GT3 answers. What are the two most fun cars you've driven and why? My number one is the .2 GT3 because it was fun all the time at any speed, always felt special, which is why I am buying one. My second choice would be a Murci for it's insane straight line power. This should be a fun poll!
I had an '87 930 Turbo w/20K miles in white w/black leather. It was the best car I've ever driven on the street. Had a soul. Felt great cruising and was a blast to drive fast. And was a handful. Loved it. And it was the only car I've ever sold for a profit.
Second, would be my 2010 Cup. It feels like a video game. So predictable and a pleasure to drive fast. Very confidence inspiring. Like nothing I've driven before. My second time driving it, turned a 1.23 at Big Willow and this past weekend, turned the 2nd fastest lap w/POC at Spring Mountain (large 3.4 mile layout) at a 2.26. Fastest was an '07 RSR w/4.0L motor at 2.23.

i've owned a 300zx, turbo supra, nsx, and my gt3. i'd say the most fun was the supra, next is gt3, then nsx, then the z.
this mind sound a little crazy but the supra was actually an automatic (anyone who knows supras knows the automatics are crazy fast and strong) with quite a few performance upgrades so driving it required zero work - it was seriously like playing a video game. the turbo kick made it feel like you were being shot out of a cannon.
i now prefer driving a stick though since i don't drive fast on the street anymore. grew up and got smarter
the nsx was a 3.2 6-speed, bottom line is it just wasn't fast enough. you had to work way too hard and work the motor way too hard to even get the thing going on the freeway. the car also felt fragile, like it was going to break if you drove it too hard. unfortunately it left me stranded twice, once with electrical problems.
the z wasn't very exciting and handled like crap compared to the supra and nsx. guess you can't expect much from a car with a tweed interior, lol.

I had a 1989 930 with mods and it was a car that felt like an extension of my body. It was scary but very dependably scary.
Recently in my search I drove an 08 GT3 RS and it was the closest and possibly even better than my 930. Just a little slower in straight line acceleration so I bought an 08 GT2. I haven't had a real chance to explore the GT2 since it is soooo fast but it might go to the top of the list after I play with it this summer.

The Murcie is the most fun I have had in a car hands down. It has the looks, the power, the handling, and the sound. Funny thing is my K turbo civic hatch is a boatload of fun also. It has the power and the handling to keep anyone entertained. 400 WHP and sub 2600lbs will bring a smile to anyone's face.

An Abarth Carrera back in 1962, just a wonderful experience, it was like you were inside a thrashing machine, you could hear every gear turning and every valve opening. The car was light and agile, my life took on a whole new meaning from that day on! The second would have to be my current SW 3.9 and a close third would be my old 500HP 1986 930!! Now that was a real challenge on the loop!!!
Drove a 900ish RWHP GT500 in the fall, scared the crap out of me.
I Autocrossed a buddies grandma style Tan mid 90's corolla 4 door, looked bone stock but with some crazy JDM motor in it. Had the stock steel wheels with R compunds with good brakes and suspension. I had to stop mid course becasue I was laughing so hard.
Drove a tuned 996TT at christmas as well, ( gotta have one now )

Before my gt3 I built a Cobra replica with a 500 hp 392 windsor stoker in it. Car was a blast to drive as it was raw and brutal. Would turn a 11 second 1/4 with street tires and anything over 80 mph it tended to fly around a bit. no roof, windows or comfort and made your ears bleed. Loved it, but rarely drove it.
Gt3 was a great replacment as it still has that edge to it. My rating is gt3 then cobra.

My old C5 with about 580 rwhp/ 640 rwtq, first time I hit the nitrous in the car spun it at 70 mph 360 degrees on the freeway. Just a nasty beast of a car that loved to oversteer under power and I could hang the rear end out sideways in every corner. So alive and other than the steering commmunicative of what the car was doing underneath.
2nd is 993 Turbo S, what an absolute mechanical and raw beast. Probably one of my favorite cars as far as how it felt and drove. It had so much character and in the boost was genuinely fast. Steering really felt alive and communicated very well. It however did require a driving style adjustment compared to what I was used to.
