Just for a heads up for getting your price in line with the market. I was just in the market, and I looked at alot of them. My car (GT3 I bought) was stickered at $123 with $2K of options at the dealer so say $125K THEN the owner put on the Manthey power kit and gave me the stock parts including spare ECU so about ANOTHER $15k of hop ups and we were around $90K. I did not care about the fru fru stuff the car had like carbon sills full leather, deviated stitching PCCB, etc etc but I wanted the power kit so I jumped on it. It had 3K miles. And this was in California. There is one for sale in OK for 90K and has been for sale since Jan.
BUT being in Cincinatti you may have a captive audience. I know of one NEW car at a East coast dealer that stickers for $115 and they will sell for $93 (04).
(second hand info but I did call and they DID say they would deal)
I dont want to burst your bubble but just trying to give you some helpful info, incase you need to sell faster.
If youre patient you may get some one
at 99, but thats not whats happening in the market right now. My car is perfect also, and I have to admit it WAS a steal. but it was not that far out of line.

OldGuy, with all due respect if $99K is his asking price it's not out of line at all. It's got half as many miles as yours in a region where there aren't many GT3s like SoCal. Additionally it's loaded with a good amount of factory options and it's an easily saleable color. The car has not been modified either which is a big plus to potential buyers. While you may have found the Manthey powerkit an added bonus when buying your car, to the average buyer in the market it is at best not desirable and at worst a total turn-off. I think Rick could get $96.5K if he waits for the right buyer, namely someone who will be really turned on by the "carbon". For a quick sale he could just dump the price to somewhere around what you have suggested.

Good points Amir. I dont know how the Ohio thing affects his market. But there is a really nice one in OK (a stripper)
for $90k(2K miles) ,and I dont think theres much difference between 1500 and 3000 miles (if not track) Like you said out here there is a lot more.
AND if you do carbon later its gonna cost more than
buying Ricks.
Good luck Rick with patience you could find that buyer at your price.

OG

Guys,

Those are helpful posts and I believe both are right on. I originally paid 108-109K for the GT3 so I'm not trying to recover a large loss rather just departing with an extra car.

I have seen other GT3's priced more to sell but I believe this is the right GT3 for someone out there who wants a Black/Black Large Carbon car that is in original condition has had a proper break-in and has not been on the track.

I don't think the car is over-priced and I personally would pay more for a car that has been treated the way I would want to treat it.

Buying a car that has been to the track wouldn't bother me however I would have a PPI and a leak down test done just to make sure there hasn't been any over revs.

My GT3 also has the painted Black seat backrests/sport seats and CF sills.

I forgot to mention my email: rgilhart@cinci.rr.com

Thanks again for the good comments,
Rick

Rick Amir pointed out the one thing I DONT know is the ohio Market. I would be heavily attracted to buying one local as opposed to buying one cross country.
Its gonna cost some cash to buy on that way, so your car could REALLy be attractive to a 6-7 state guy in your area.
And Like I said Carbon is cool, and expensive.

Thanks Amir, OldGuy and Mooty for the info. I haven't advertised it locally but will try that as well.
