Thanks for posting your images and thoughts. Even the guys who dislike the idea.

I have noticed that the guys who so dislike the CL are of the GT3 variety. OK, these tend to get a lot of track use, and I can see why you would swap to 5 lugs. On the other hand, these are fine on a street only car and both the examples here are tt's.

I personally love the cleaner look. This goes back a very long time for me after seeing CLs on a Ferrari Daytona, and then a new BB not much later. Functional, perhaps not. Looks = 10. Sometimes looks wins. Got my vote.

Sorry, it's a factory fitment. This is a 2014 turbo. I ordered it with the Turbo S wheels. A 4k option.

Why do they always fit the orange side indicator lenses in the US?

Suncoast Porsche in the US sell this kit so you can get prices of the kit there. It's only available for the Turbo, not GT3/RS etc. There are two kits, one for PCCB and one for Steel brakes.

Price of fitting will be approximately 11 hours labour at the place of your choice. Add to that the cost of new CL wheels and that is your cost.

Wheel fitment will be either the standard GT3RS (gen.2) or GT2RS wheels. So 12 inch wide ont he rear and 9 inch wide at the front.

It's the law. They are supposed to be Orange + blink Orange. Many change to clear with orange bulb. "technically not legal" Same with the rear bumpers on our P-cars, those little bumperette things that look like ***.

Wish my car didn't have center locks...huge pain in the *** to swap wheels and bleed brakes compared to 5 lug. 5 lug was an option on my GTS and I screwed that up!

I'm tempted to swap center lock and 5 lug with someone

I do a track school every couple of years but always in their cars. I don't track mine so I won't be mounting or dismounting tires.

Im confused, i thought the reason race cars have center lock wheels is its faster to replace them in the pits, so why are people saying its a pain to have especially for tracked cars?

Benefit for street cars: Looks and slight weight advantage (hub setup and wheels)

Downside for street cars (or those driven on track): maintenance needs of the locking mechanism and hubs, the 5ft torque wrench required to torque them right, needing a 2nd person or a brake pedal tool to hold the brakes while torquing or removing the wheels, more limited wheel selection, difficulty in getting the locking pins/mechanism to engage correctly.

You're right, race cars use them, but they use a different mechanism designed for race cars with race tools and at race maintenance schedules.
