Hey guys anyone bent their oem gt3 wheel and repaired them? I just repaired mine and i have a track day next week, I wanted to know how reliable it would be and is the rim the same after it gets repaired?

 

Aren't you worried about your safety ?
A repaired rim is like driving 140mph with a plug in your tire.

Wow I really thought that once they repair the rim it is ok to track, at least that's the confidence i had.
Man guess i have to toss the one rim.

Did you get it fixed at Wheel Enhancement?

 

One of wheels I took it to wheel enhancement.

 

I'd say it depends on how bad it was bent and how they had to repair it.

 

Well they said it was about 10% damage, I really don't know how they figured that but they also said that if it's bent really bad they have to pull the center out and sometimes it cracks. I'm my case they just had to work on the inside of the tire!
