Fellas,

Quick question for everyone here- just got my 997.1 OEM GT3 wheels painted red (similar to that seen on some GT3 RS's); what should be done with the OEM silver w/black lettering center caps? Should those be painted red too? Or would the OEM center caps with colored crests be better?

I would go with red w/black lettering.

 

Yes, you need to paint them red with black letters. They should do a 2 stage process on the center caps. Paint them all black first and then tape off the "GT3" and paint them red. Here are some pics of how mine came out.

I had it done at the dealership, Porsche of the main line in Philly. I had it done before I picked the car up after purchasing. Not sure if they outsourced it.
