If so, what type of negative camber are you running (front & rear, left & right).
My father just had his car aligned, corner balanced and had the camber adjustment done and he does not feel they did enough negative camber. His numbers are -1.14lf -1.15rf -1.76lr -1.81rr.
Does this sound right? It is a weekend car with 7000 miles that will see the track for DE events or an autocross (maybe 5 events a year) . Any suggestions?

He'll NEVER get enough of any type of improved handling with stock suspension parts. We prepare several GT2's for DE and that's just the way it is. We always have to " go over" the suspension for improved handling AND tire wear. With the prices of "cup" tires, you either improve the suspension or buy stock in Michelin! havefunwearouttiresdriveGT2-Mark
you could definitely use more negative camber if you are running Cup or Corsa tires.
Ask 20C4S and see if he can give you some alignment specs. Perhaps they can give you the specs on my GT2.

My father is kind of **** and the car is flawless not even a small nick. Some people (like my father) would be just as happy trailering a car like this to concours events and keeping the milage under 10,000 miles. He just purchased it in October and has had it in storage (Mn winter) untill last week. He has put 50 miles on it since he bought it. Nevertheless he is taking it to the track this weekend.

yeah, unless he plans on parading around by himself during lunch - the car will get a couple of rock chips, some brake dust, and rubber marks all over not to mention accelerated wear on mighty expensive PCCBs.
the first thing WE suggest is provide paint protection with Armorfend for the front of the car. It really does help. All my guys with 2's and 3's have it and LOVE it!
BTW-doesn't help much by doing it AFTER your first event

I have tracked my GT2 on several occasions (I also have a Cup car). I have the following set up with stock suspension.
Front - 2.5D Camber : +5' toe (+10' total) : 110 mm ride ht
Rear - 2.4D camber : +17' toe (+34' total): 135 mm ride ht
Caster is stock setting - 8 degrees
Sway bars are set 1 off full stiff, front & rear.
This was accomplished by simply punching out the pre set factory holes and rotating the struts 180 degrees. Then setting the camber from there. In addition a complete corner balance was done (sway bars must be disconnected).
These setting work well and the car handles very well. However at Willow Spring (Big Track) which is very hard on left side tires. I have corded the outside edge of new MPSC left rear in 130 track miles +/- twice. Next time I will try standing the left rear up some (less negative camber).
I will probably switch over to Moton Clubsports and try to figure out a better solution.
Good luck.

FYI for anybody who knows BIR (Brainerd International Racaway) in Mn. He ran a 1:54. The record for his PCA class (10M?) is 1:49 in an 04 GT3. He has a bit to go, but it was his first time with this car on the track.
Supercup this seems to be a trend as I shredded my left rear dunlop after only two days at WSIR. My friend went only a few hundred miles (including commuting to the track from LA), before he corded his brand new LR Corsa. The track isn't that hot yet, what is going on? Thank god I made it to the front straight instead of losing the tire in turn 9
