Wow lost a RS 4.0 & a GT3 RS both in one accident due to a drunk driver driving a Chevy econobox...I'd pay to see his face once he sobers up and someone tells him what happened and how much the cars he ruined are worth! Glad no major injuries occurred.

Early reports indicate that it may have been payback from Jan Magnussen and the Chevorlet / Corvette racing team going back to the 2009 ALMS race final at Laguna Seca.

Sad...

Man, that totally sux...and as for that race, WOW....but that Vette deserved that IMO based on the rear ending in Turn 11. Rubbing is one thing, but the attempt to rear end was done so to disrupt his drive ot of the corner, take away the racing line and to also to induce a spinout. So, sorry buts that cheesing driving and since no one was hurt, I find it funny that he trashed his car and DNFd!! Had guys like that in our racing club that carp like that and always thought what comes around goes around....

he actually went over the finish line to take second, and if you notice he spun in front of Borgmeister, so Borg went off line to hit Magnuson in the rear.

Ok, couldnt tell if he made it back up the hill to cross the finish from that video (and didnt see the race), but was referring to Turn 11 incident. The Vette rear ends deliberately the GT, so the fact the the GT retaliated by pulling the police "take out the rear quarter panel and induce a spin" strategy to me was well deserved was my point....If someone rears end me in the final corner because I had properly defended the inside line, I would be angry and likely also retaliate...doesnt matter, just clarifying my comment. Thanks for telling me the Vette did finish...must have been fireworks on the Podium I am guessing? Any words/scuffles?

Your right it was a desperate move in t11, same thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago to loose a first place and loose my second place in points for the year has hard as those guys race on track, I have heard first hand that they are really good friends off track
