The standard factory recipe for the new 4.0 RS is more than enough to satisfy most of the lucky 600 owners who have ordered it off the Porsche menu.
But what about those select few who want to make it their own and add a bit more flavor and kick to it?
For them, especially those of a ‘Southern’ persuasion – the taste of the 4.0 still leaves something to be desired.
The way we see it is even with this amazing dish Porsche has served up – those with discriminating palates may choose to add a few extra special RSS ingredients and season to taste…
Congratulations to fellow forum member [Glock Guru] on the recent addition to his Porsche stable, #257 of 600 GT3RS 4.0 Limited Edition…

Hey, Glock Guru!
I met GG a couple weeks ago. A Porsche tech (hey Vinnie) got a group up to drive our cars (944, Boxsters, Boxster Spyder, 997's) from Baton Rouge to the new New Orleans Motorsport track, for a karting day. We took some excellent, smooth, straight, lonely backroads. We drove spiritedly. We pulled over on the side of the road to let a few guys catch up. We had four white 997's in a row-- a GT3, a 997 with aero kit and big wing, my 997 C2S, and the Gumbo GT3 4.0. Four white 997's, three big wings. The few people that passed by us slowed and stared. Lots of fun. The 4.0 is not too shabby. (And he did mention that he was putting it on a truck next week...)

You and me both. It's cold down here now so gumbo is an every week thing now.
And BTW the pics of the RS 4.0 with Intercity (Only Intercity) are taken with an iPhone 4GS. The reason I say this is I always see people posting about crapy iPhone pictures. I think they look great for a cell phone camera.
