Popped my cherry at Road Atlanta
Trakcar - Yes you still need to use the clutch and match revs; but its super fast and you'll never have to worry about missing a shift or the dreaded 5th - 2nd, which apparently happed to a turbo and Gt3 a couple of weeks ago in Daytona. Gavin did not install it, Sebastein from Mach Motorsports in Hollywood did; he is the local dealer and very knowledgable about the install. It costs about 7k plus 1k to install. If you can find a used one and they do come around from time to time they go far about 4 k plus 1k to install. Mine was used. If you are instrested, I know Sebastain has one more used one with very little hours on it; it was on his RS that he is selling. Let me know and I can put you in touch with him.
Thanks, yes that is the benefit of the sequential, no money shifts!
My brother is a very good driver, but had brain fade one day and blew his engine.
I have Sebastiens phone number, thanks but I buried my wallet for the next few months at least ;-)

trakcar - I really some of the mods you've done to your rs. I'm not sure what you call them, but the carbon fiber lip you added to the side of the front bumper that i have seen on the 4.0, where did you buy them and how much were they if you dont mind me asking. Also is there a noticeable difference? in downforce and handling?
You mean the dive plains? They are availbale at Suncoast parts.
You do have to paint them as the come in GT Silver. I think about $500+ paint, but I bough them and all my other stuff from Orbit installed.
Together with the Gurney Flap and CUP wing it all helps a bit depending on the track.
I only have that, plus front colling ducts and the LSD. The LSD is a must have and makes a bigger difference then the aero.
