What is a "good deal" on 996 GT3?
So I've actually been looking at 996tt cars for a few weeks. Driven some, liked a few of them. Yesterday I came across a 996 GT3. Reluctantly I gave it a test drive. This was a bad idea. As soon as I saw it, I liked it. Then I drove it, and fell in love.
I don't know much about the GT3 since all my research has been spent on the 996tt. What do you guys consider to be a "can't pass up" price on a 996 GT3 with 22k miles?

Volder,
I think I'm in the same boat where I researched and bought a 996TT but would ultimately prefer a GT3 (but I cannot get over the narrow body versus wide body differentiation on the 996 variants). Can you tell me a bit about what you liked better about the GT3 (versus the Turbos you've driven)? Thanks, and best wishes.

Really though the driving experience was a lot different. It felt more like a "sports car" and less like a GT/Cruiser. When I punched it the power was there, instantly. You didn't have to wait until 3k RPM before you started moving.
The suspension was much stiffer. It took corners much better.
Thanks for your feedback! Your comments are similar to what I've read in the past, but I never get tired of reading more about the differences.
As for me, I made my bed when I bought my 996TT, but I'm definitely a HUGE GT3 fan too!

I paid $58k for a clean '04 996 GT3 in July 2010. It had 12.5k on the odometer. . . 25k now. It was completely stock with no track days. Good luck!
