CGT guys....

How bout some in/out of car footage for us? I would love to see some new CGT videos, instead of all the old stuff on the web.

You might want to check to determine if they allow convertibles on the big track without after market roll bars. The last I heard was they would not allow it. I do not believe the top covers for the CGT are designed for safety in the event of a roll over.

Ben they were not allowing 996 Cab's which had the pop up roll bars and windshield frame protection.

pop up roll bars are not integrated fixed ones as is the case with the CGT.

from the Porsche Product Information manual:

"The vehicle meets all worldwide legal requirements with regard to...overturning...

In the case of the the Carrera GT, passive safety is based on the highly rigid monocoque passenger cell of CFRP in combination with the A and B pillars. High strength steel pipes reinforce the carbon fibre reinforced plastic structure of the A pillars. The structural design of the high strength composite components used in the B pillars is similar to that used for racing vehicles. The Carrera GT therefore provides maximum protection for occupants in the case the vehicle should roll over."

what do you think this thing is? a ferrari?
