Tech Question: Airbag Module

Hi all-

I'm replacing a faulty Air Bag Control Unit on a 2007 GT3. The catalog states the part number as 99761821708. I have access to a perfect 99761821706 (off of a '06 911), which rolls into the same part number (2005-2008, same exact part). Will I have an issue using this 2006 unit instead? Just want to make sure that my car's control unit's all "talk" to each other...

Thanks in advance for any advice.

In most cars, air bag control units can only be coded once, meaning a used control unit will not code to another vehicle. I haven't tried on a 997, but this is the case with others that I have worked with.
