What ring package do those pistons have greekm3?
Thickness of:
1st ring ?
2nd ring ?
3rd ring ?

What is the stroke on your crank now and what is the rod length?

Sorry, no idea where to get the Pankl rods. Pauter rods are great; you might want to consider a set of them instead

To answer an earlier question, 82mm crank and titanium rods works just fine.

A bit of an update considering Head work on the Turbos. I have found a source for CNC porting for the Turbo heads and billet cams for them as well. I will have more details for you shortly. As for the GT3 heads, I have been told the port work is very good. Some additional hand porting could be done but going with bigger valves and adding more lift does wonders.

Head studs are in the works. Will give you updates shortly.

Come on guys. It's been very quiet. Lets start to see some engine building.
I want to see other brave souls take the plunge as I did.
It's nerve racking especially when you write each check but all worth it.

I got prematurely excited about the Turbo cams…. They happen to cost $14000 for the set of 4.
The price would drop to around 8K if there were 10 people ordering but I don't see that happening. I think the cost to benefit does not make any sense unless you are trying to get every ounce out of your motor; lets say you are racing in a series where they have restrictors and the cams might be to get that a bit more advantage. Instead of going that route, unless the money is no issue, the CNC port work for $2700 plus maybe some bigger valves makes more sense. Of course if you had the budget, CNC port work, bigger valves plus the Cams would be awesome!! Too rich for my blood though!
The CNC port work includes the intake and exhaust ports as well as Combustion chambers. I have been told the combustion chambers' volumes vary from chamber to chamber. They even said because of this they have had issues with carbon buildup causing problems when one chamber goes below a certain size, detonation issues(don't know exactly how that is), check engine lights popping up due to related problems, etc., etc. Making all the combustion chambers will definitely be beneficial.

GT3 cams:
$2640 to grind your 4 cams. You will have to send in your cams for them to get ground. Turn around time of 10-14 days plus shipping from you to here to back to you.
996 LIFT: 495 Intake, 437 Exhaust
997 LIFT: 500 Intake, 495 Exhaust

Still trying to get some pricing on valve train and head studs.
I have been told the GT3s don't really need better head studs but the Turbos do. I will get pricing on both, that way you GT3 guys might consider it for a piece of mind.
