I'm not familiar with the PCM/stereo options listed on the configurator.

I don't see any Bose option so am I correct that it isn't offered? The "standard" stereo is the only option?

 

You won't hear it anyway, so what does it matter!!!

 

It offers an "automatic", HD radio and Sat radio, DVD changer, navigation, voice control, etc..... But no Bose option? All this new-found refinement that justifies this at a daily driver is crying for a Bose.

 

Maybe they're only going to offer the Burmeister system as an option?

Exactly.... I opted for the upgraded stereo and you can't hear sh*t anyways

 

The only option I'm getting on mine is colored gauges. I appreciate a nice stereo system as much as anyone, but not in a GT3.

 

SPP Sound Package Plus is the only stereo option. Get it not because it is any good but because the stock stereo sucks worse. For $700 it's worth it. Never listened to it in my .2 GT3 as the engine and exhaust are music. With that said get SPP.

 

All you need is one good enough to hear something at a stop light

 

My GT2 has a very quiet exhaust in comparison to the the GT3, and above 40mph, I can't talk on the phone or hear any music. The road noise coming through the cabin is overwhelming. Its not annoying or bad at all and can be done on long trips, you only notice it when you get a phone call and can't hear anything or have to blast the stereo to hear what they are saying.

 

This is very true. Anytime I'm driving the GT3 and I'm on the phone most people are like are you in the GT3? I'm like yes why? Because your car is loud and I can hear your exhaust! And that's with the windows up...

 

forget the sound system in the gt3 guys. gt3 too noisy (in a good way).
you play loud music over the radio, other people roll their windows up.
you mash the loud pedal, people roll their windows down to listen to your exhaust at full song. put on a high quality bluetooth headset to listen to music thru your smartphone.
