Why have no GT3 shown up yet anywhere?

I have noticed on cars.com,this forum, and other places no one seems to have a new Gt3 yet.

Why is this?

Aren't you the guy who said this?:

"I can walk 10 minutes to my porsche dealer and say I want the 1 GT3 allocation you have and they will say sure the car will come in 90 days."

First GT3's are not scheduled for delivery in the US until after the new year.

Allocation is different from a car physically at the dealer.

Hey I tried for you. When I went in a few weeks back to help with a relative who lives in another state for ordering a c4s from this dealer, my sales guy asked me if I wanted a GT3 and that they had an available allocation for it. But at the time I was not interested because that same relative keeps telling me the GT3 is horrible for street driving, because his next door neighbor has one that he has driven many times.

But now that doesn't seem to be the case so I am interested in it more than any other car at the moment. It's ok though, I am in no rush at all. I rather wait a year anyways because then the bugs will be fixed and I don't have to pay MSRP. It's hard to negotiate when 6 morons before me are all willing to pay MSRP because they have to have the car that second.

huh. Do you know if 996 or 997? There's a big difference between them and I'd imagine a big difference going to a 991. Not just the technology, but even the basic geometry.

997. But I was apprehensive though now everyone says the 991 is great for every day unlike the 997 apparently.

They had some supply chain issues and had to delay the release of the GT3, that's why you see the Turbo out now.
