Really?

1. Cars JUST hit land, so a bit early to the party. 2. Cars are already sold out (for a while anyway), so late to the party. Good luck with that.

If you want to enhance/change the sound of a GT3, there are a myriad of aftermarket options for a lot less money than a 991 GT3.

The 997 GT3 sound is special. But I don't think the 991 sounds bad, at least with the videos I've seen/heard. There are some recent new owner videos on youtube. Have yet to see one in the flesh. Won't be long in LA.

^^ +1
And this was the point. A 991 is not going to sound like a 997 anymore than a 997 sounds like a 993. Each generation has its own unique sound and to me they all sound terrific. Off the showroom floor I suspect the 991 GT3 will sound spectacular as they put a lot of work into making it unique and louder inside the cabin. At redline it screams in a very good way.

Allegedly they are doing 500 chassis for the US. Which is BS but I am curious to see how long it takes for the cars to end up on eBay.

500 what? GT3 or GT3 RS? No way they only sell 500 GT3s in the USA as that number is way too low. RS I'd believe for sure.

500 GT3 chassis for USA, well that was what I was told by my dealer. They also said only 350 chassis for the 918 for USA also. That seems stupid to me you would think whomever has the means gets a car unless the car is sold out worldwide and I heard they are no where near 918 buyers.

Maybe that is because first year production is lower than normal (meaning they got a late start)? Anyway, it will be interesting to see how many they actually build and sell in the USA.
