For all you track junkies or those looking for a little more safety in there street cars.

We have developed a harness bar that works in conjunction with the standard seats and offers taller drivers the ability to move the seat back in order to get the proper leg room that is impossible to get with the Tequipment bar and standard seats.

For those of you who have installed the factory Tequipment bars in there cars and are not running GT3 one piece seats you know what I am talking about, especially if you are over 5" 10" in height.

The factory Tequipment bar is not designed to work with the standard / sport seats and you simply cannot get the seat back.

Our GMG GTCUP Harness/Roll bars are made of 4130 chrome moly tubing, tig welded and normalized for strength. The bars are made to either fit GT2/GT3 (non sunroof cars) or 996TT and Carrera's equipped with sunroof.

We have also added an additional cross brace to increase rigidity.

Complete BOLT in unit ( mounts like the Tequipment unit) with the additional mounting tabs for those who are running harness's and dont wish to drill holes in the floor of there vehicles.
Designed to work standard seats, sports seats or GT3 one piece seats.

For more info please email me directly...

GMG GTCUP Harness/Roll bars )Patent Pending

The cost of the roll bar is normally $1395.00

I am offering it to 6speeders for a limited time for $1150.00

Its superior to the factory T equipment roll bar . If anyone wants to come down and see one in person I have a few at the shop.

We have made the bars to be different for the GT2/ GT3 NON Sunroof cars and the 996TT / 996 Carrera Sunroof cars.

The factory Tequipment bar is designed for NON Sunroof cars and actually touches the headliner when installed on a car equipped with a sunroof.

You could swap back and forth between the two, however we discovered that the 996tt sunroof equipped car required a little more clearance and thus made 2 versions.

Hope that helps answer any questions.

So to answer your question , Yes they are interchangable one offers more clearence that the other for the sunroof cars.
We just wanted to ensure that there were no issues with headliners rubbing on the bars themselves since it is such a close fit.

Hope that helps...
