PCCB or not?
this - and only when they're already warm.
Unless you're racing your GT3 in longer-than-sprint distance events, you don't need PCCB.
For track days you will want steel rotors obviously as they are way cheaper to replace.
I would follow the above advice buy pccb, and swap to steel rotors for track days. If you just drive on the street or dont drive hard on the track and only go a couple times a year I think PCCB would be the way to go.

If I were buying a new GT3 I would get PCCB. Why? Bigger front brakes.
Get car, pull them off, swap to Steels for track, keep PCCB minty. Sell if want $.
Example: on 997.1 GT3/RS the front brakes were 350mm, while pccb were 380mm. On the .2 they were both 380mm. On the 991, front steel brakes are 380mm, with PCCB I think they are what, a massive 408mm?
if you are street only, I'd get 'em, brake dust is minimal with pccb.

The real question is; how much more value are you adding to the vehicle at the time of resale with PCCBs? What like $4k, maybe $5K? Personally, if I were to track the vehicle I sure as hell wouldn't get them, but they sure look good.
i have PCCB on my car a i believe that it is a neutral value on resale. everyone that buys these cars new or used has some plans on tracking them. that being said nobody wants to spend $20,000 for replacement rotors.
i purchased my car used and when my PCCB's are done, i will be replacing them with steel rotors.

Probably $0
Lots of discussion around this. If you plan on tracking, do yourself a favor and get steel rotors for sure. My car came with PCCBs. I'm 5 track days in and chewed up 40% of the useful life of the front rotors (my rear ones at over 90% so no problem here). My car has less than 10k miles on the clock. Just the front is a $10k replacement and all around between 18 - 19k plus tax and installation. Go figure. Steel brake rotor replacement front = $1k, $2k for all four.
I don't know why but those PCCBs melt like ice cream in the sun during track use. I've read about it and now I'm experiencing it first hand.
The steel breakes will work just as well and last longer. Under normal street driving conditions, that relationship is flipped and the PCCBs will last an eternity, probably way after till you and the next person sell the car. But it begs the question why getting PCCbs to begin with and other than saving 60 pounds of unsprung weight not much added value for an expensive option.
Street = PCCBs great
Track = steel for sure
The yellow calipers look cool though. I'm switching to steel now and can keep the calipers on. I just don't want to deal with a $10k rotor replacement. That's more than just a nice dinner I can have instead ;-)

I only track a few times a year. I don't race against anyone, so for me its just ultimate performance and feel over a few laps. Plus I think GT3 owners now with PCCB gets some sort of a special deal from Porsche to swap to steel for track? Something I read somewhere. Not sure, but that is unimportant to me.
To each its own.
