Is it true that only 3 CGTs were done in special order paint

Dealer with the midnight blue told me that only 3 CGTs were ordered or made in special order colors. I have seen the gulf blue and zanzibar red. Is this information true. If so, I cannot understand why the such a rare car with a decent looking color (not smurf blue, pink or something impossible to resell) cannot bring MSRP.

So are there really only 3 CGTs in colors other than black, silver, red and yellow. Or is this limited to US delivery cars.

I have seen a white one as well. Is that a "regular" color?

I don't know. White would be pretty cool and may be in the non special order colors. The guy that told me this owns a Porsche dealership. It just seems like there would be more out there. I would have thought maybe paint to sample fly yellow or some of the Italian shades of even the more common colors. Ferrari has some gorgeous hues.

i'm sorry but i think ur dealer lied to u. any color that's not standard on the list will be a special order color. therefore along here on the board we have 2 already. nick's Polar Silver & Mike's Singal Yellow. with the Carrera White i saw in Germany & the one in TX & SF, Gulf Blue, Zanzibar Red, Midnight blue, Speed Yellow... i think that's way more than 3. a dealer can say anything they have no clue but as a customer u should educate them so they can keep the mouth shut next time.

Agreed. There are four White CGTs, actually.

There's also a pastel yellow in Swizterland.

Either he lied or didn't know any better. Slap him across the face next time you see him!

Hi Luis,

I think I have the only Signal yellow CGT. I haven't been curious enough to dig into it with Porsche to find out for sure.

I believe the Swiss CGT mentioned above as Pastel yellow may actually be in that color, or a color very similar in appearance.

EDIT -- I tried to attach a photo of the Pastel CGT, but the attachment function doesn't seem to work right now.

There are 6 standard colors:

Black

Basalt Black

Fayence Yellow

GT Silver

Guards Red

Seal Grey

Anything else is $15.5K paint-to-sample.

Does anyone else think paying $15.5k for paint-to-sample white is a bit ridiculous? I do love the signal yellow.

Thanks Z0RR0!

BTW, are you the same Z0RR0 from Jabbas World?

edit: so THIS is the CGT with the "exotic" interior... for christ sakes, that should be considered a crime.
