GT3 RS question
GT3 RS question
Apologies if there are other threads on this and it has been answers by others already.
I am now in a financial position where I can chase a GT3 RS if there are any to be chased. I am not in a big big hurry, which I suspect is just as well, but would like one. I have been lucky enough to own a 991 GT3 and have the addiction.
If anyone can offer thoughts or suggestions on how to go about finding availability of an allocation I would appreciate it - I am sure many on here have been in/or are in a similar position......and maybe this is dumb, but I really am not looking to pay the massive over list premiums I have heard about.
Thanks for any thoughts.

Hey there buddy, so, if you haven't already gotten on a list, chances are you won't get an allocation. However, if you do find one, you'll be paying probably 50K to 100K over MSRP. Your best bet is to see if there is anyone out there who is willing to transfer their allocation to you.
If anything, you have a 991 GT3, which is an AMAZING car and the values have been going up
Good luck

GT3 RS question
Your probably out of luck to fund a car at msrp cause those dealerships have a list buyers and the dealerships with allocations still available want 50k over. But you can give Ralph Pierce at inner car connection and if there's one to be had he knows.
I have spoken with two people who can get me into a GT3RS both are quoting $50 - 75K over list. I would love to buy one but I am concerned about the depreciation if I pay that premium. I am not a wealthy guy - I just have a Porsche weakness!
If you can afford it, call Champion Porsche in Florida.

Thanks for all of the guidance/comments. On the topic of MSRP v silly amounts over, I too am concerned about going well over. When I first looked for the GT3 the same thing was happening, dealers charging over list ....but only this past Saturday I walked into my local dealer and there was one on the floor at MSRP and open to a little bit of discount potentially. So it would be really bad to pay 50k over and then get caught out ....its kind of risky when, in my world anyway, 50k is a lot of cash over to pay.
