Yep, thats what I am thinking of doing. I think it would look great painted. But the car is so low is painting it a waste of time?

 

painting it a waste of time...hell no....waste of money...probably....just take some pictures of it installed before you brave any steep drives....it is thicker than the stock lip and subsequently stiffer....looks like it will stand a little more abuse...get some touch up paint too....

Probably not too fond of it....especially when I roll out at 5:30am to get to Buttonwillow...good thing there aren't any oak trees around here....but then you could tell everyone I was "hung"..

make sure that the is no light between the splitter and the body before pullling on to the track. It will pull when you get up to around 115mph+.
