I like watching Porsche's against other cars rather than just Porsche's against Porsche's all the time

Not a stupid question at all.... It's a great class, it has everything from the Cadilac to Vette's to Mustang's to Audi's to Viper's and on and not to forget Porsche GT3's... and they now are the only US Pro series to allow 996TT's

Hey Cary, will you be workin' or just hangning out and enjoying the show? If working, let us know who to cheer for.

I agree 100% this is why I was so pumped to see them adding the GT cars to the list .... cars that we can actually identify when they go by! I've been following drifting since the early 90's when I first saw it at a race in Japan .... I wondered what took it so long to catch on over here... that is some fun stuff to watch too!!
Isn't it a shame that they have to bring these things in that people actually LIKE to watch in order to fill the stands!!!
I only live less than 4 miles from the track and I had quit going to the Grand Prix unless I was working because it had gotten so boring. These two things have me pumped to go weather I work there or not.
As it get's closer I'll try to keep everyone posted.

Checking the Grand American Schedule - Looks like you are gonna get a Daytona Prototype - ONLY Rolex Series race that weekend as well - - - Might be worht a trip out for all that action
We will be there.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Running our 996 GT
Since home is less than 30 minutes away- this will be an awesome race weekend.... The Porsche's will hopefully just as strong as they were at Denver last year ( 1-2-3rd positions )
We are looking forward to all our 6speed friends to come out and support the race weekend.....
The GT race will run sunday after the Cart race (As Trans Am did, since GT is taking its place)
Between the Rolex DP and World Challenge GT - This will be an excellent oppurtunity to see some real racing in your own back yard.. Anyone in the LA area be sure not to miss this weekend.....................

Vader-- Dont knock the drift guys so much... It may not be racing..
But you have to admit the guys who are good do have "skills" when it comes to car control.
Im not a big fan of it. But I can appreciate it... And anything is better than roundy round racing
