The modular rims only go up to 18" according to my information.

Anyone else with RUF 19" pics?

I see you are located in Sweden.

I have a question about tires:

Do you have access to 19inch competition tires? Typically we only sell/use 18inch wheels because of the available race tires in 18inch

Thanks for your time.

Most competition tires are 18", but sometimes you need to put on the costume and dress up. That's when you go 19"

We used 19inch centers in a wheel that accepts a 18 inch tire.

I spoke with Pirelli at the Essen Motor Show. They are very shortly releasing the Corsa Tracktire in some 19" sizes. No exact details as yet though.

Problem on a 996 is that they were never designed for 19s so the sidewall gets very small if you wish to keep factory gearing and avoid tire/arch contact. The 997 has a bigger overall tire diameter, with lower gearing and larger arches to accomodate.

Of course if it's bling you're after, then the poorer ride and handling won't matter.

I'm beginning to understand the importance of bling versus the importance of gearing/proper ABS function !!

I'm used to filling tires with nitrogen and tracking their growth over a given period of time during a race. I need to get more into this bling thing it pays better.
