Manual Transmission Throttle Blip

Does anyone know, or have a knowledgable opinion, on if the new 911.2 GT3 with manual transmission will have the throttle blip feature like the 911S?

I have a 2013 911S and I really enjoy this feature when you are in the Sport Mode (nice to be able to turn it on and off). I have read it is the same transmission as the 911R so maybe it depends on if the 911R has this?

Thanks

I don't know definitively, but the GT4 has that feature. Seems like a no brainer for a "street" car to have that feature as an option.

You can also get the Cup car version for the 7.1/2 cars as well

Question....
Why not set it up where you get a signal from the clutch, and every time you press the clutch, upshifting or down, you send the Throttle Body a preset signal, let's say 40-50% throttle to do the BLiP? I understand it will be a little excessive when moving from stand still, but what the heck. You can always put an on\off switch or make it so it won't work below say 10mph. Building a small box like that has to be pretty elementary for the right person.
The McLaren 720 has a loud startup programmed in from the factory, a small blip is not going to be too bad.
The sensitivity, ramp speed will probably have to be adjusted in the ECU to make the blip snappy.

Experts please chime in. I'm curious.

Here is the 720S with loud start:

maybe have the box rev +1000rpms only when both brake and clutch are pressed to avoid adding revs when upshifting

I have contacted my tuner (one of the best and well known) to implement this on my OEM 996tt ECU (without box) and isnt possible.. seems the new MT Pcars have lots of sensors wired to ECU to do that, that box is a great idea.. lets do it !!!

I'm game too.

I know one guy locally that can do it. A bit of a Mad Scientist, Mad Genious type. Not the easiest person to deal with. Every time I ask a question, he makes a point to make me feel retarded.
Pretty sure he overwhelms me with technical information that only he understands. With a straight face too! I'm sure he is kaughing on the inside. Not playing poker with that fella. Ever!!

Anywho... does any of you know someone or a company that can make this happen?

Both clutch and brake being pressed voiding the blip only on the upshift seems like a good idea but for a simple box to figure out to do that only at upshif might be tough. Definitely need it when heel and toeing! A speed signal should work where it is Off till reaching a certain speed. Have I already said that? Or was I just thinking it...

I just checked. I already said that. Boy, am I like a broken record... sorry people.

Great price! ⬆️

I'm waiting to hear back on a different item. Supposedly, it will do launch control, Anti-Lag, rolling boost, etc.
not sure exactly how the rolling boost part works. Something about retarding a ton of timing that builds boost while you're driving\cruising.
Kinda like rolling launch control.

Check n2mb wot box for that. No need for external rolling boost as brake boosting can be enabled into our tunes and works fine, I did 1bar+

I have Proto tune including : 2 step launch, no lift shift, brake boosting, so my tune covers all features the box provides.

The box adds only adjustable launch rpm as that can not be set by us without new map

find bellow a link to product specs: http://www.npcompleteperformance.com/wotbox
