Difference Between GT2 and GT3

Aloha,

Could anyone help and explain the difference between the 2 models of cars GT2 and GT3. I have a 996 and in the process of selling the car. Possibly looking into a GT2, GT3 or 997S. I am not a child just lazy here on Maui and thought you guys could help.

GT2 got turbos and almost 100hp more. Both cars are awesome for track. I'll let the GT3 owners fill in the rest.

What he said + the GT2 has NO electronics to mess with your power slides
besides for the ABS which is greatly appreciated. Now get off the couch and stop being lazy and get a GT2 already.

this will be too long to list. however, u should give us a little background info about urself & what u're looking to get out of the car. both cars look close in certain way but they drive totally different.

Get the GT3 since you don't know much about cars. Graduate to the GT2 later.

I didn't want to insult anyone, but, yea, the turbo is a great beginners car.

Here's my situation Maui does not have alot of road to open up on. There are a few but there are alot of nice back roads to drive. I am just looking for a better performance car than my 996. No street racing just an enjoyable car. Money is not an issue for me its just I don't want a performance car that is not being used correctly.

Get a 997S. It will be all you can be.

Mahalo for all your replys and I am sorry if my questions is dumb. Its just I grew up around my dad having 912 and old 911's. I just want a car that I could enjoy in paradise. Once again Mahalo.

Life Dies- Thanks for the beginner comment. My point was to find the difference of the cars and figure out whats best for my enviroment. I want to utilize the car not under utilize it.

From the sounds of your environment, I would go GT3.
