Plastic Surgery on 996GT3?

Guys:

What would it take to graft the top vent from the 997GT3 bumper cover onto the 996GT3 bumper cover? I'm convinced that it would vastly improve the look of the front of the 996GT3 which looks sort of bland, especially without the license plate, which no one ever seems to use here in CA. I know there is an 996 GT3 RS bumper cover with holes there but the 997 vents look really cool IMO.

Perhaps a photoshopped photo might give us an idea.

a good bodyshop can do just about anything. I am sure it can be done and if not stock for stock I am sure some aftermarket company will make a replica to fit the 996 GT3. A photoshop would be nice though

If I had a 996 GT3, I would only consider doing a 996 GT3 RS bumper. Custom stuff on these cars looks ricey.

You may be right on that. I've seen only one in motion (Tony's black one) and that was during my TT days when I wasn't paying as much attention to the GT3. Other than that I've seen Noel's but that was parked as well. Kinda rare around here on the streets.

As for mods, I had hoped to avoid them but I keep hanging around Lucent and all the cars there look so good.

GT3 Rhinoplasty?

Terry, remember: anyone that admits to being a poser can't be poser.

BTW: Your car looks better than mine, even without the 997GT3 nose.

I just want an embossed 996GT3 storage cover, for the love of god.

ps..Don't change the GT3 bumper.
Those E-36's with E-46 bumpers just look weird.

Noel: Not true. Our cars are identical, except maybe that the nap on your leather is exactly a tenth of a nanometer lower than mine. How you are able to notice something like that I will never know.
