Front and Rear seals leaking

I was taking my GT3 in today to bakersfield to get the air bag
lite turned off (GT3 seat installation faxpaux) and when I pulled
out there were two puddles under the car of really clean oil.
maybe silver dollar size. I drive it once a week maybe.
I ask Dennis Arroyo about it when I got to bakerspatch and he said
both seals were a tiny bit wet front and rear. he said no biggie but maybe at the
15k service have them both replaced under warranty. He did not
care about the Manthey system either. I will keep an eye on
it see what happens. He said he'd never seen any seal leak on
this motor. But he still said not to worry about it till warranty expiration
or 15K service. I have the spanish case.

Good Timing, That usually happens to me the day after the warranty expiration!!! How are you enjoying your GT3? Having fun I would think.

I really enjoy it I ran the canyons back to Ridgecrest on the way back
with brand new rear MSP2s
and oh BTW I had an F18 pilot with me a Marine Major who has an 89 cab
over there in Bakersfield getting an oil Leak.

No oil this morning-not a drop!!

Paul,

That kind of sucks about the leak. The puzzling thing is that you would have as much as a silver dollar from sitting a short time at the dealership and then nothing after sitting all night. Must be the Ridgecrest air! Dennis is the man though, he really knows his stuff. I feel really fortunate to have a tech like him in an area like Bakersfield.

Maybe it's a sign to put in an order for the 997 GT3.

BTW this might be an excellent time to get the light weight flywheel and clutch done for just parts!!since the motor would come out for free.

You may also consider doing the RSR crankcase breather and rear main seal since you have to change seals anyway I think it yields another 5 hp or so.
