here we go...pics were finally taken. The car is an absolute dream, the sound is breath taking!!!!!! there is only one thing im not liking , THE ATTENTION. yes good attention is good, but we went out to lunch yesterday and parked it where we could keep our eye on it the entire time. a group of kids and their parents went up to the car and started TOUCHING the freakin car, with out my permission. I went out side and asked nicely time after time and kept getting attitude back from these little punk kids (8-13 years old) then when i asked their parents to take their kids away before i get really mad the parents gave me attitude saying its okay for their kids to touch, becuase its just a car. DONT PEOPLE TEACH THEIR KIDS RESPECT THESE DAYS? I GUESS THE PARENTS ARENT ANY BETTER. i know my dad would have kicked my *** all over the oarking lot if i touched another car with out the owners permission. sorry for the rant... on with the marvel!!!

Last summer I was in Chicago at a Ferrari meet and a guy
(just someone from the crowd) set his kid up on the hood of an ENZO!!
My jaw hit the ground, I was dumbfounded, confused and pissed,
I could no believe my eyes, what the hell was this guy thinking??

Very cool car. If I took a car that expensive and parked it anywhere the general public could walk by it and touch it or deface it in any way then shame on me for putting it in harms way.

I agree that people can be outright idiots and that is unfortunate, but the greater burden lies on you to keep it out ot the reach of their disrespectul paws as it is more important to you to keep it pristine. Sad but true.

I'm sure you would agree that there are places you should and should not go in your CGT. I agree that you should be able to go anywhere but that unfotunately is not the case.

 

I agree and disagree with what you have said. It is not like i went into the ghetto and parked it in between cars. I live in an upscale area (Agoura Hills, CA) There are plenty of nice cars around. I parked it along side a curb in my direct sight. If where i parked it was "in harms way" then i think anywhere you take it will be in harms way, other then our personal garages. No matter where we park it, it is with in reach of the general public. It is just sad to know that we all work so hard to be able to purchase the greater things in life, only to be ruined by the jealous asses out there. i do think there is enough room under that hood to fit a 12 guage and a few rounds. kidding

I don't even understand how 95% of the population gets through everyday life, let alone have respect for someone elses property, let alone a $400,000 car. I park my 996TT at my office which I own and my garage up on a lift. If by chance I have to take it to run a mid-day errand, I park as far away from everyone as possible.

 

I understand how you feel, and I agree its just a wicked expensive car and personally I wouldn't leave it alone period.
