Well this is what makes car sales a rough job, I don't own it for 349 so I can't sell it for that price or very close to that, I can't sell a new one for that because we are not looking to take a 70g hit, so like I say with this car make me a offer. I am not trying to be rude just working with what I have. And I am looking for everyone else to understand our end of buying and selling these cars.
Well then be honest!
You have to include all the incentives offered by Porsche to take these cars, e.g. additional TTs or C4Ss and these all have to factor into your net cost (for new ones).
If you have a stupid wholesale buyer who paid too much for a used one that's not something you can expect to palm of on your customers.
Lower your selling price to $325k and you might move the car around $315K

the thing is we bought this car for the right amount at the time, no one bought it, the whole market has gone soft across the board and this particular car is not a $315k car. It is not a run of the mill CGT that is GT silver or black. I am not asking to the customer to palm the loss but if they want to pay $399k for this car or a offer that doesn't put us on the negative end its a done deal. If you want to spend $315 on a car I will help you find that car.
There is nothing special about fayence yellow. Now if you want tot try and create something special about it so be it. But the car in the currrnet market is not worth more than $310K-$315K.
Just because Porsche charged a pretty premium, doesn't mean the car in used market retains that premium: E.G. ceramics, or X50 package: and so go some of the special options on the CGT, the sucker to pay your asking price (or close) for this car is like last year's snow...long gone!

Branywine,
Congratulations on showing restraint. That looks like a very nice CGT and hopefully you find a home for it in the immediate future. I think one key distinction people miss on cars like the CGT, is if you can pay $325K for a car you can pay $400K as well. No one wants to overpay, but in that price range you should/need to get exactly what you want. So someone will come along and say that car with those details is perfect for me, and you will have another happy customer.
Good luck with the sale and thanks for posting cars on the site for us to consider from time to time.
