Wow. Debacle is right. Best of luck with everything. My dealer is definitely not like the ones described here, and have worked pretty hard to make me happy. The first RS owner placed his order on Friday, and got to spec it exactly as desired.

Interesting. I got the call that I'm #3 there and that I need to come in to place my order. All this does not sound good....hmmmm.

Nelson, I would wait a bit and see how this plays out. I will be giving them a day or two to make this misunderstanding go away and honor what they sold me. The Porsche community is very small in Southern Cal and I would hate to think that they would pull this over a couple of bucks.

Note to self: Don't ever buy a car from Pioneer Porsche.

What goes around comes around.

The kicker is that under consumer protection laws in California that dont favor the big guy, settlement fees paid to the plaintiff are an automatic 3 times that of the damages....yes that includes attorney fees paid at three times the normal fee.

Just to let you its illegal in the State of california to take a deposit on a car and not give a vin. I know this as the guys at lambo in beverly hills told me this when i was going to order a car... All dealers do it though, as they always hold true to their word. But it seems you got the bad apple my friend.. I FEEL FOR YOU deeply...

I wish you the best... Thankfully you seem to have a good case going...

Liars, thiefs, cooks, loosers

Thanks Mooty, kick some ***. This is total BS....if the powers to be at PNCA had any idea how hard core of a Porsche guy Iam and how many mis guided humans I have led to Porsche waters they would give me a car and pull the franchise from Hoehn. This is by far the most negative Porsche event I have ever been involved in. Iam planning on making phone calls this week until I get some answers at the national level. Boy a Z06 is starting to sound nice....or maybe a prancing horse.

I hope it gets resolved soon. I know how frustrating it can get for a dealer to do what these guys did to you.

I bought a Porsche from Hoehn, then they pulled the markup game. I bought my next 2 Porsches from Pioneer, they were pretty good to deal with. That was when Kerry McGuire, Chris Huck & Joe Valdala were there. Maybe management has changed recently?
If so, that's disappointing, because the dealer choices are limited here. It's difficult when the dealer is a pain, makes owning the car no fun. The one reason I would never own a Lambo here is because of the one dealer choice.....

My sales representative at Pioneer Porsche is Joseph Vadala. He should be selling Hundai any ways. I had to tell him, that the RS was indeed coming to the U.S. last January. He had no idea and didn't even know what an RS was at the time. Prior to taking legal action I will let his sales manager, Shawn Lawler sort this out for me, hopefully today. I will keep you posted.
