How to do a negative rep:
The proper method and loading for performing a negative rep is not always well known. Each negative-accentuated rep should last somewhat longer than the negative phase of a regular movement. Depending on the range of motion of the exercise, this could be anywhere from 3 to 6 seconds.
The initial load used for negative training should be approximately 105% of your regular one rep max for the exercise, e.g. if you can bench 200 pounds, use 210 pounds for negative reps. You can increase this load if you are able to get more than 6 reps with that weight (6 reps is the most you should do with negative training - if you can do more reps, you aren't using enough weight for it to be maximally effective).
Normally, 3 sets of negative training per muscle group are plenty. These 3 sets will be all the work you will do for that muscle group that day. If you do more, you will be breaking your muscle down too much, making it difficult for your body to recover and build strength optimally. If you can do more sets and reps, you probably aren't working the negatives hard enough.
The real key to effective negative training is in how you lower the weight. Don't just lower the weight as you would in a typical rep. You must ACTIVELY FIGHT GRAVITY by pushing (or pulling, depending on the exercise) as hard as you can against the weight. If you don't fight the weight, your results will not be optimal. If you've done negative training before and didn't feel extremely sore the next day, you probably weren't fighting the weight. Try it and you'll feel the difference!
Here are 3 powerful techniques you can use to do effective negative training on your own. At the end of the article, there will be a link to pictures of these techniques in action. More on this at :http://www.fitstep.com/articles/trai...-a-partner.htm

i had a local BMW dealership to me here in seattle treat me like crap one night. I was working in F&I at another dealer for over 3 years and was making good money, so I went in cause I was interested in either the new Z4 3.0 or maybe M3 (used CPO car). I got there and they were arguing over who's turn it was to take "the up" or next client
. So i talk to the guy and wanted to know how much the 3.0L would cost with sport and what not... he tells me at least $50k for that... I am like WTF???? why not buy a 330ci for less... he tells me it is what it is.. then I when I talk about M3's they tell me... oh why don't you look at the 323 coupe... might be more my budget...
So I went to anohter one and got the Audi S4 from my friends dealer and showed the GM down there what I bought.... HE WAS PISSED and i loved shoving it in the salesmans face
That year I ended up buying a VW R32 for $35k which I enjoyed driving more and was great in the mountains..

There are plenty of other Porsche retailers who would gladly earn your business without the stupid comments or insults.........
Remember Cash is King -- Regardless of age no retailer should ever take the approach they have taken with you..

Okay DEAL IS DONE.. so here is the skinny to it all..
Bought the car for CASH... out the door no question asked.
Installed a Sachs stage 2 and some other stuff. NO CHIP... The deal is RUSNAK drove the car for over 4 days with out my permission. Dented the bumper and some other stuff... The Sales Department ROCKs. Richard the GM is a GREAT GUY. But the SERVICE Department THERE SUCKS..
AMIR: to let you know nothing done to the car could have caused the 4 fuel pump failures. The replacement of the fuel relays, wiring and fuel jets. The thing is the car had a wiring problem.
Rusnak is a great dealer to buy a car in westlake.. but i would NEVER let them service a car again.
Thanks for all the support you guys.. You are all the best...
ALEX that neg rep thing is funny... LOL..
