CGT insult by dealer.

Hey yall... SO not to long ago was at Rusnak Westlake and they had a black CGT. They were like "why dont i buy it." My answer being 6.2'' and 300lbs Is that I dont fit into the smaller seat. They dont even tell me that there is a larger seat instead this is what they say:

"Well buy it and put it on the drive way and have it say on the windows "DONT EAT" . Or better yet buy the car now and then we will work you into shape and fit you into the car."

They went on like that, and made it seem that i should "CHANGE" myself to fit into their car. And its all good i am not hurt by that... But then i call back as my Turbo is dropped off there tomorrow on the lemon issue, and tell them I wanted the Black CGT if i can fit into the larger seats.

So i call them and inquire about it and they are like. "Why would i care about knowing there were bigger seats. ITs not like i would have bought the car anyways."

So now i feel insulted. Like I cant own a CGT for some reason. Seems i might be too young at 24 to afford it as they were shocked i owned the Turbo.

Then I told them about VRAlex's car, you know to brag about his car and make it seem that is the reason i found a new interest in the car (Which I have)...

There reply to Alex car. "Sure buddy. If thats what you say. No one has heard of this Black phantom you speak of." And they doubted me when i spoke of it.

HOW MUCH IS A BLACK CGT going for and how big are the bigger seats.
As i might just sell off something to buy the car for a day or something. As i am sure if i owned one i might not be able to handle such a crazy powerful car...

I am not surprised. Porsche dealers are not what they used to be when I was a kid. I used to look up to these dudes 20 years ago.

If they make any more comments about what you would or wouldn't buy, ask them what kind of car they have. When they look sheepish and say honda, tell them to STFU because they have no idea what they're talking about.

The XL seats are slightly larger in the hip area over the standard seats. I have the XL seats in my car and have some friends that are about your size. The car is very cramped for them even being in the passenger seat. I'm roughly your height but 100+ lbs less and I find the shoulder area to be pretty tight. To be honest, at your size, a CGT might not be very practical even with the bigger seats.

So you have a couple options...buy the car and loose some weight. Buy the car and get bigger seats, or don't buy the car. Also, why would the dealer care about VRAlexs' car ?? Becasue it has straight pipes ?? Look out...

Yeah. I was telling them Straight pipes make the car a beast and sound sick.. Honestly out of every car i have seen. Seeing a Black CGT makes me weak at the knees. And honestly Alex's car with the AWE straight pipes sounds so much like an F1 car i get all giddy like a 7 year old getting to look at his first playboy.

Josh thanks for the info. A dealer just let me know its 2mm..LOL.. wider.. LOL.. But still I love the car.. But i cant justify 300+ for a car.. Not saying its not worth it.

It's probably 20mm and the dealer read it wrong.
