If you really want the car, educate yourself as to its value and make them an offer. If they won't sell it to you at the right price, move on and buy the car elsewhere.

I have said it once and I will say it over and over again, Rusnak sucks! I bought 2 cars from Rusnak Westlake (there is a story behind both of them) and had bad experiences with both. I thought the first bad experience was a fluke but the second experience confirmed to me that's just how they do business. That black CGT was there a year ago when I bought my cab in Oct 2005.

rusnak has bad attitude prob.
and also male chauvinist pigs (sp)
in 2000, i went in to test a 996c2. a nice woman sales was helping me. but she ca'nt drive stick, so this pushy sale man litterally shoved her away and inserted himself as my sales rep. ok off to test drive. they guy can't save his life if it depended on his driving. then i drove it like i would on a track (remmeber this was 6 years ago, i was younger and much more reckless and stupid)... i scared him ****less. the color of his face was bright white, afterwards, he handed me back to the poor woman sales who wrapped up the sale.

If I were the sales manager of this dealership I would have fired my sales person on the spot! Remember the customer ALWAYS comes first...

Never had a positive relationship with most porsche dealers. I always shop on the phone and just have them boat it to hawaii. For some reason they think their crap don't stink.

yeah... makes me wonder why some of those guys ever went into sales. OH well. Plenty of P-car dealers out there that will kiss your butt for your business.

Thought I might give you this one-- a true story-- not in the US but Porsche dealer with nose in the air. Guy who chose to drive work truck ( he is in the mega category), old clothes has sudden need to look at new Porsche. Ambles in and wanders over to cars only to be told " don't touch" as salesman looks up from desk to shout command.Gets no help and attempts to ask questions get ignored. Teed off, walks across the road to sparkling red Ferrari in showroom . Immediately says-- I want that now. Salesman tries to explain features and takes 3 or 4 tries to continue, stops when he hears - I want to transfer funds to your account now! As quickly as this was done , guy ensconces himself in the drivers seat, does u-turn to Porsche dealer opposite, jumps out, bangs on window to get unhelpfull sales guy attention, gives him the both thumbs gesture, jumps back in the fazza, leaves in a cloud of smoke. Often felt the same when visiting some Porsche showrooms!

Often the best way to deal with ******** salesmen, right there. Show them that their attitude will cost them sales.

I say buy a CGT elsewhere, and go do donuts in the lot of that place with it.

I have heard more horror stories regarding RUSNAK than any other dealership...

I know that the President of Porsche North America is looking into RUSNAK because of the way they have treated a VERY respected person with his CGT...he was so pissed off at them that he sold his CGT for HUGE loss and purchased an ENZO....

Salespunk is infamous around these parts
Call the GM and discuss with him. I am sure that will take care of the problem.

Rob, go in there with Alex ofcourse driving the CGT. Get the two ******bags out there, show them Alex's car, let them oggle at it as Alex small talks with them. Meanwhile, you go in, speak with the REAL general manager and tell him of how you were treated by the to fellas talking with Alex, then tell him that if he fires those two guys on the spot, you will drive out of there in the black CGT, if he does not, you'll be back a week later in a CGT from another dealership. I bet he doesn't balk...******bags in unemployment line and you can have your CGT and teach them a strong lesson in customer service that will last a lifetime for the entire staff AND the dealership as a whole. I'd love to see Jerry Seinfeld grow a beard, throw on a baseball cap and go into there to see how he's treated and what happens to Rusnak when PCNA hears of how poorly he's treated incognito. He's not only an amazing ambassador for Porsche, with the type of money he spends at the factory, they'd probably take away Rusnak's entire franchise! He has all of his older cars completely restored by the factory, I can't remember exact numbers, but I heard he spent 6 figures on a '73 Carrera RS lightweight restoration from Zuffenhausen, not including cost of car which he bought privately. We really need that list compiled don't we.
