Not sure of their name, but on the drivers side of the CGT there is often blue caps and on the other red. Is there any historical signifigance to this or just a matter of stlyling?

+1

Red on left side, blue on right side of car.

Cannot be removed without torque multiplying wrench and really cool "socket" that is displayed under hood of car.

It's an old tradition in racing. I don't know if the Ferrari F1 team still does it, but they used to not too long ago. Just a subtle thing Porsche put on the CGT.

Aha! you're right! Never noticed that on the MC12. Never spent as much time drooling over them as I have the CGT.
