Does anyone know of any RS spots left at MSRP? I have calls into all my contacts, but figured someone on here might be looking to back out? Not willing to pay over sticker...

gonna be hard. even there's a buyer wants to back out he'll know the car is worth for over sticker by now. your best chance is to get on the list of ur contacts. they might be laughing at u now but i'm guessing there will be 08 RS. we shall see.

 

Yea I am kicking myself, I was offered the first spot at a big dealer in Chi town a few months ago and turned it down and for some reason want one now...

Luckly I go to college with 5 kids whose parents own Porsche dealerships around the country (including Champion). Hoping one of those or one of my other contact through FVD can get me one! Not looking good tho

Grrr my Ace in the hole couldn't come through... Champion sold the last one less than a month ago . I guess I am first on the list now though, so maybe someone will back out...

As far as an 07 goes, everything is spoken for, there are some cars being offered for a premium and this car will pull it.

And a little incentive never hurt I am not willing to pay over MSRP, but if someone can get me a slot at MSRP that I decide to take I will GIVE THEM my 996 Gemballa Carbon Kevlar Hood off my old turbo!!

So yea if you can get me a slot at MSRP that I take, you can have my Gemballa Hood, just pay for shipping and its yours FREE!

I think there will be an 08 GT3 RS, but only because the 200 or so cars coming into the US will be made over a longer time span. At least that was what I think I read somewhere.

 

My $$$ is on GT3RS production for at least 2 years. They will sell every one of them at those low production numbers so why not?

 

I know a local guy who has a spot here in Orange County and is willing to give it up. However, it's gonna cost a bit more than a gemball carbon hood for a 996 I can PM you some numbers if you like.

 

Thanks for keeping an eye out, but not looking to pay over sticker. I love the car and want one, but its already hard to justify the additional cost over the normal GT3 and paying sticker just makes that worse! Get him to come down to MSRP and the hood is yours
